Air Fryer Green Bean Fries
These gluten-free and vegan green bean fries are air fried until golden and crispy and served with an easy spicy yogurt dipping sauce.

Ingredients
1/2
pound
green beans
trimmed
aquafaba from a can of chickpeas

cup
gluten-free breadcrumbs
1
tablespoon
nutritional yeast
1/2
teaspoon
garlic powder
1/2
teaspoon
salt
1/4
teaspoon
black pepper
For the dipping sauce
1/4
cup
plain unsweetened coconut yogurt
or other yogurt of choice
1
tablespoon
ketchup
1 1/2
teaspoons
sriracha
Instructions
Combine the breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a shallow dish.
Place the aquafaba in a separate shallow bowl.
Dip the prepared green beans in the aquafaba then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
Place each green bean in the air fryer either in the basket or on the oven trays depending on the model.
Air fry the green bean fries at 400°F for 12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Mix together the ingredients for the dipping sauce and serve with the fries while hot.
Notes
*Aquafaba is the liquid in a can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans). Simply reserve the liquid for use in this recipe when draining the canned beans.
