Ingredients

medium apple
peeled and chopped

cup
golden raisins
zest of 1/2 a lemon

tablespoons
water

lemon juice

tablespoon
honey

sprigs of thyme
leaves removed

teaspoon
cinnamon

teaspoon
nutmeg
1/8
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pot over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, stir then reduce heat to low, cover and let cook for about 20 minutes until raisins and apples are softened and liquid has almost cooked completely off.
Stir, transfer to a bowl and let cool.
