How to Grill the Perfect Burger

There's nothing quite like a juicy burger off the grill — here's how to master it.

1 — Choosing the meat

A 80/20 blend (20% fat) is crucial for juicy burgers.

This applies to any kind of ground meat, not just beef.

Adding fat (like butter) when using a lean meat will help.

2 — Making the patties

Don't overwork meat & use gentle hands.

Burgers should be chilled before grilling and seasoned RIGHT BEFORE they go on the grill. 

Adding salt to the beef mixture before forming the patties can result in a tough burger.
