Start by preparing the asparagus: -rinse under water, pat dry -snap off woody ends -peel any tough skin off the bottoms

Asparagus can be: -Boiled -Steamed -Grilled -Roasted -Air-Fried

Boiling asparagus: Bring a salted pot of water to a boil. Cook for 3-5 minutes depending on size.

Steaming asparagus: Place in steamer basket on top of boiling water. Cover & steam for 3-5 minutes.

Grilling asparagus: Preheat grill to medium-high. Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt & pepper. Grill for 5-7 mins, turning as it cooks until charred.

Roasting asparagus: Preheat oven to 425°F. Place asparagus on baking sheet with oil & seasonings. Roast 12-15 mins until tender & slightly caramelized.

Air-frying asparagus: Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Toss asparagus with oil, salt, pepper & optional parmesan.  Place in air fryer basket or trays. Cook for 6-7 mins until crispy.

Any of these methods are perfect for making asparagus the star of the show or a delicious side dish.

It's great roasted on the side with grilled steak.
