Inspired to finally make simple syrup for myself.

Inspired to puree fruit in a blender.

And mostly, inspired to drink.

After a 7 day work week, I think I deserved it.

Strawberry nectarine bellini

I didn’t think ripe summer fruit could get better than it already is but, I was wrong.

Champagne tends to have that effect on things.

  1. Can this drink be made and stored in the refrigerator ahead of time? I have a family party Saturday, and plan on making this in (very) large quantities but I will be going straight from work so I was hoping to have it all put together Friday night.

    1. I wouldn’t make the entire thing ahead of time b/c I’d worry about the champagne and club soda going flat. But, you could definitely make the simple syrup and fruit puree ahead of time and store in the refrigerator. Then just assemble with the remaining ingredients once the party starts. Those are the 2 time consuming things anway so putting everything together wouldn’t take long at all. Hope you enjoy it if you make it this weekend!

      1. Thank you for the advice and this absolutely delicious recipe! They were a huge hit…almost too big of a hit I didn’t want to share =) and they have already been requested for the next family event
