May sponsor shout out

Since announcing the sponsorship idea a few weeks ago, I’ve been floored with the response. Honestly, I thought I‘d get a lot of negative criticism. Instead, I got so many positive emails and comments and a great first bunch of sponsors for May. Maybe it’s just that the negative people are hiding out in cyberspace but whatever, I’ll take it. You guys rock!

So let’s get to know these lovely ladies and their blogs from May.

Ally’s blog is chock full of delicious food (so many great looking sweets!), DIY projects and life with her 2 adorable kids. She’s been blogging for years and you could lose yourself for hours on end in her archives. Ally also has a cookbook that contains everything from appetizers, party food, entrees and desserts from her 2+ years of blogging. Super impressive!

You might already know a thing or two about Kat, the blogger behind Living Like the Kings as she happens to be a friend, coworker and my recent accomplice out in wine country. Kat’s blog is a little bit of everything. From documenting her adorable daughter, most commonly referred to as Peanut, to easy, quick recipes for busy moms, to her Techy Tuesday series (she is in IT in real life and knows a thing or two here) and most notably, her awesome photography.

Cinnamon’s (yes, Cinnamon is her real name, how cool is that?) blog’s name is pretty much to the point if you’re wondering what she talks about over there mixed in with a healthy dose of her 3 pups and her (pretty funny) husband, Paul. One of my favorite things on Cinnamon’s blog is her Movie Monday posts and her movie review page. Ulysses has a slight movie obsession and I’ve consulted that page more than once to try and dissuade him from dragging me to the theater.

Brittany’s blog is actually among the first healthy living blogs I read when I started to lose weight and get healthy. Her journey to health is incredibly relatable and she keeps you coming back with her easy, quick and healthy recipes. She’s also a certified health coach and has some great workout inspiration on her site. Personally, I love Brittany’s blog because I can relate to it. She works full time and yet finds time to make healthy decisions through food and exercise. She’s also recently engaged and blogging about all the fun wedding stuff if you want to follow along vicariously. And even if that’s not your thing, you must check out her gorgeous engagement pictures. Seriously beautiful.

Jamie is the veggie mom to three behind the blog, Thrift Veggie Mama. Her blog documents her family’s life through food as they’ve transitioned to a vegetarian lifestyle in the past couple of years. As a work from home blogger who has trouble fitting it all in, I have no idea how Jamie manages to do it with 3 kids under the age of 5! There are a ton of great recipes on her site, but I haven’t been able to shake these fudgy brownies from my mind since seeing them a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and if Butterfingers are your thing, go check out her latest post too!

I’ve been following Living like the Kings since you blogged about Napa, and I love getting new suggestions all the time. I think the sponsor thing is really an awesome idea… I might follow suit eventually but haven’t quite decided yet (I hope you wouldn’t mind!).
