A glimpse

by Running to the Kitchen on December 26, 2011

Hope all of you that celebrated had a wonderful Christmas! Here’s a glimpse of ours.

Xmas 2

My parents finally got to meet baby Ethan before we headed to my aunt’s house for a big Christmas Eve dinner.

We exchanged gifts with Adrian & Doreen since they were going to be spending Christmas day in New Jersey with Doreen’s family.

Xmas 21

There was a slight mix up of gifts at a few points!

This was probably the first time all of the “cousins” were together for a holiday in many years so we captured the moment appropriately. Winking smile

We spent Christmas morning at our house with panettone and gifts.

Then we headed down to my grandfather’s house for Christmas dinner where we had an antipasto spread that could’ve served as the meal itself.

I think I entered a food induced stupor after this because that’s where the pictures end.

I’m enjoying one more day off and wrapping up the holiday with some outlet shopping today.

Back to normal tomorrow…

Lol, don’t worry, I only took the one picture of Bungee sleeping with her new toy. My food coma started really early.

Wow, your dinner looks delicious! Just for the record: the cake in the photo isn’t panettone, it’s pandoro. By the way, I love each of them and during my Christmas holiday I’ve eaten so much of these desserts… Wishing you a fantastic 2012 from Italy! Bye!

I know :) I actually like pandoro much better than panettone but figured I had confused people enough with all this talk of Italian breads ;) Happy New Year!
